The staff is always super friendly, and the food is phenomenal. They use only the best ingredients and almost everything is homemade. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic Italian Hoagie. Roll was amazing, fresh thin sliced meats and cheeses. Great service and even beer to go! It was busy, but staff handled it well and was friendly. Check it out!

What a delightful find on my way home from the lab! Ron's greeted me with wonderful response times from the staff, magnificent food, and a cozy, homey atmosphere! Our server, Jenny, was extremely funny, helpful, and charismatic. She really made my day! The Stromboli and wings I had were both delightfully done, the sauces were magnificent, and the menu is amazingly diverse, with options for basically any person's palette. The seats are cozy and have plenty of space, and the prices are very affordable for how large the portion sizes are (attached photo is under half of the small size of their Stromboli, can you believe it?) Ron's shows that you can never judge a book by its cover; this small little grill tucked away in the corner of a road was a real diamond hidden beneath the rough. Absolutely recommended!

I've been going to Ron's with my family for well over a decade- when they still used to be Ron's Schoolhouse Grill. Consistently great food over the years. Good happy hour, specials, etc. Live music, fun ambiance, something for everybody on their giant menu! Love their pizza, pasta, calzone, turkey dinner, and their appetizers. Friendly and attentive service!

The food was excellent, the service was great, but it was so loud I couldn't wait to eat and get out. Why do people have to scream across the table at each other? And why do parents let their kids scream and holler? The place really is pretty inside with a very homey feel, but there is no enjoying a nice relaxing meal when it's so loud you can't hear your spouse across the table. First time there...not sure I will return even though the food was excellent.

Tucked away in a mini strip mall, Ron's resembles the usual version of your local happy-tappy serving up the usual assortment of nondescript pub grub to the usual less-than-discerning indigenous clientele. Well... not quite. Check out the restaurant's website... Their soups are made from fresh stocks that are by-products of their slow roasted meats and chicken... Their meats are antibiotic and hormone free... Their burgers are fresh ground certified Angus and never frozen... Their salmon filets are fresh cut by the chef; their mussels and calamari are fresh ice-packed, not frozen... Their turkey breasts are freshly baked on the premises from fresh, hormone-free fowl; their bacon is nitrite free... Produce is delivered 5 days a week, and all salads are made with fresh-cut lettuce; and the mixed greens are hand-washed, dried, and mixed by the kitchen staff; vegetables are all cut fresh and cooked to order... In addition, the menu lists the items that are gluten free, hormone/antibiotic free, spicy, vegetarian, clean eating, and/or made from scratch. Not exactly the culinary résumé of your average local happy-tappy... But the fact that a restaurant offers its patrons healthy cuisine is only part of the equation. Even the best of organic and/or local comestibles can be poorly prepared and sloppily presented. Fortunately, however, not only is Ron's food good for you, but it is pleasing to the palate and the eye as well. Taking a gander at the rather extensive menu, it may seem as if the kitchen's reach has exceeded its grasp. One cannot help but think that it would be difficult (if not impossible) for an eatery to do so many things well. But, on second glance, the bill of fare is not quite as gargantuan as it at first appears. Any restaurant, however humble or upscale, invariably does certain things better than others. And this is true of Ron's as well. But the key, in my opinion, is that this restaurant knows its focus, its limitations, and its clientele... and, therefore, continues to do a first-rate job across the board. A lion's share of Ron's menu, of course, is given over to the kitchen's superb interpretation of so-called "pub grub." But the restaurant also offers patrons a select variety of entrées, including a number of traditional Italian favorites. My recently sampled Eggplant Parmesan, for example, was tender yet firm to the bite, smothered in melted cheese, and sided with al dente spaghetti kissed by a rich marinara. Even better, however, was my dining partner's homey Black Angus Italian Meatloaf (pictured) topped with house-made marinara sauce and companioned by a mound of luscious garlic mashed potatoes and perfectly cooked broccoli florets. And don't let dessert pass you by. There are a number of palate-pleasing options to assuage your sweet tooth... but nothing quite measures up to the over-the-top Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cheesecake. More than suitable for sharing, this irresistibly rich and creamy delight is decadence personified. So, forget the calories and go for it. The restaurant contains several dining areas. But the bar, bustling yet inviting, is the most comfortable seat in the house. Even if there's a waiting list for the dining rooms, which is not at all unusual, you can almost always squeeze in at the bar; either at the bar proper or at one of the high-top tables. Here you'll find a diverse, friendly crowd, equally friendly bartenders, and a bevy of TV screens to keep the hometown fans happy. If you're on the prowl for well-prepared casual fare that utilizes top-notch ingredients and won't break the bank, Ron's Original Bar & Grill is highly recommended for both lunch and dinner.

Been going to Ron's since the early 90's when it was Ron's Schoolhouse grille. I've never had anything subpar here. From the cheesesteaks, pizzas, ovals and recently I tried the turkey dinner to go and was really good. Top quality ingredients with no hormones or antibiotics. Consistent high quality food, period.

Best meatballs ever! My wife makes exceptionally great meatballs. Ron's meatballs are (sorry dear) as good and perhaps just a touch better! (I'll be in the doghouse if she reads this.). We visited later than our normal dinner time so i didn't want a full meal, so i ordered "just" a meatball hoagie. It came stuffed with 5 large luscious meatballs, smothered in Ron's excellent marinara sauce and covered with a huge amount of mozzarella cheese. It was hugged in a perfectly warmed (not toasted Chris!) 12" Italian roll. Perfect! Best I've ever had! Our visit was on a busy Saturday night but only had a 10 minute wait. It's a little loud but, hey, everyone was having a great time. We definitely will be back next time in the area,

My friends and I were in the area and was looking for food that would accommodate to what we all felt like eating. The food was delicious and service great. Portions are huge so expect leftovers. I was able to get enough lasagna for 2 more meals. I loved their lavender mocktail drink. It had the perfect mix of sweet and lavender. I would only order one round though because my second glass had a lot less of that lavender flavor and I felt let down. The same thing happened with my friend who got that drink too. We ordered a Ranchero fries for their special Fry Day thing and it was good. If you guys get one of the Stromboli it is massive. It can feed about 2-3 people.

I was in town for a meeting and wanted to have lunch before heading home. The reviews looked really good so gave it a try. Once you walk through the doors, you would never know it was located in a strip mall. I thought the entrance area was a little dark but I think that's the ambience they are going for. Service was great! The place was packed at lunch on a Monday. I had the Greek salad and added grilled chicken. It was a large salad with a nice sized piece of chicken. The vegetables were fresh. I enjoyed it. The best part was the Modena balsamic imported from Modena, Italy. I was there a couple years ago and did a tasting and brought some home. I was so excited to see this as an option. I don't think there was even an extra charge. The menu listed so many items that are homemade or imported from Italy. Very impressive. The menu is also quite extensive. I feel like I didn't do the restaurant justice by just ordering a salad. I will return if I'm back in the area. One little comment is that my server wasn't telling her tables about the specials. I heard another server tell another table. Maybe more training is needed to maintain consistency.
